I felt it from you but I chose to ignore it seeing the smiles.

I chose to disregard it cause you were enjoying yourself.

I didn’t know how it felt because I was the same.

I thought I could be there but I was equally lost.

In the end,

I was unable to do anything, unable to protect anything.

I realize it was I that was the one needing.

If you work hard, you can be happy. Have hope for the future. Hold on to your dreams. Well, what is happiness? We can’t really say for sure can we? Is there any hope in a song that sings about hope? Is there any ambition in a story that tells dream? We have come to realized that those words are only a deception whose time is long passed.

Humans are wired up pretty conveniently. If someone dies, no matter how close you were, you’ll still get hungry, you’ll eat meals, and you’ll get sleepy at night. You’ll also have to work. Eventually, as you busily occupy yourself, you’ll forget those around you who have died.

Day by day, you forget, and suddenly it’ll come… a day that you won’t have thought about that person even once.

Forget about those people that has died, sometimes even people that are alive. You still experience it the same way.

More archways. Now you wonder why those bits and peices of bricks near the apex of the archway can remain intact and not just fall off due to weather and gravity. Amazing work there by the masons of the past!

Suppose to be the central hallway if the cathedral was still in use today. Fell into disuse after the black death which sweeps through europe in 1340s and reduce the number of novices being recruited to upkeep the cathedral.

The Rock of Cashel.

Since this place is the first so far to make it into my Yee Loong’s List of Nice Castle, scoring a point of 3.25/5 , I thought I’ll post a little history on this place. Directly quoted from wikipedia.

The Rock of Cashel (Irish: Carraig Phadraig), also known as Cashel of the Kings and St. Patrick’s Rock , is a historic site in Ireland’s province of Munster, located at Cashel, County Tipperary.The Rock of Cashel served as the traditional seat of the Kings of Munster for several hundred years prior to the Norman invasion, though few remnants if any of the early structures survive. The majority of buildings on the current site date from the 12th and 13th centuries. Cashel is reputed to be the site of the conversion of the King of Munster by St. Patrick in the 5th century A.D. The buildings which crown the Rock of Cashel present a mass and outline of great complexity, rivalling other sites in western Europe. The complex has a character of its own, unique and native, and is one of the most remarkable collections of Celtic art and medieval architecture to be found anywhere in Europe.

So what happens here is I frequently go back to posts I made previously and amend a little on stuffs and pictures. I don’t have a super computer brain afterall, so I’ll amend some stuffs whenever something extra pops into the head, or I found some real nice pictures lying around but isn’t in the blog. So don’t blame me if I sometimes forgot the important things and fail to put it in here. >.<

Entrance to the Kilkenny Castle. The coat of arms you see lying at the apex of the archway belongs to the Butler family which dates back to 1700s.

St Canice Cathedral. Those are real tombstones lieing around the cathedral. It’s not a decoration!!

Archways are absolutely lovely places to take picture in, don’t you think so…

Walking along the St John Street. Ireland really have nice little quaint streets in the city centre… you can walk up and down all day long and wouldn’t feel bored… but I definitely cannot gurantee you the safety of your wallets eh… ahah!!

Yet another Chinese Meal at Cromell. However this time round the food is delicious even though we really only ordered tom yam soup and fried rice. Met a Malaysian waitress at this chinese restaurant. She was really happy to see us, haha probably didn’t see anyone close to home after such a lenthy time abroad eh.
